Most of you know
that I have an interest in computers.
This page has a
couple of my favorite links, as well as a couple that I just find useful.
One of the first
is Lockergnome.
Chris Pirillo runs
that site, and includes daily html and weekly text digest newsletters. Chris's
site deals with most of the latest tips and tricks for Windows. I have sent
Chris a couple of emails and he has happily responded, including pointing me in
the direction with a problem I haven't been able to solve.

Protonic is one of
the sites that Chris Pirillo directed me to. They are staffed totally by
volunteers who respond to email queries. Most are what may be considered as
closet geeks, but they know their stuff. If you think you have the time and skills, you
are free to volunteer. They should be able to help you.

of computer technologies. Bill built my original computer and has been a source
for components since. His prices are reasonable. As a small business, his volume
can't always produce the prices we like, but he can usually take the time
to answer questions and tell you if you really need what you want. If you don't
need it, he'll make the appropriate recommendation, sometimes, it's actually a
lower cost solution. He will be honest enough to tell you if what you want is
like shooting fish in a barrel with a bazooka when a Pellet Gun will do.
