The Journey
I got up one morning
To face a brand new
day.
Then I met a Man
Who showed me a brand
new way.
It was a road not
known;
And a road rarely traveled,
But as We walked,
The story of Our lives
unraveled.
We had many struggles
And I faced many
fears.
The length of Our
journey
Spanned the rest of my
years.
I made many friends,
A few enemies too.
But I touched the
lives
Of all that I knew.
The life We had,
The times We shared,
They were much more
Than anyone ever
dared.
All that I am
Is for the world to
know.
For all the world,
My story is here to
show.
It was an uphill way,
And definitely not
straight.
But the reward I found
Was well worth the
wait.
Begin your journey
too.
For now is the time,
To think about yours,
And reflect upon mine.
So when you get up in
the morning
To face a brand new
day.
Look for the One,
Who will show you a
brand new way.
